La La La, Why do birdies sing???

Birds sing to get the attention of other birds. Like their colourful feathers, they may use songs to attract mates. Some birds squawk loudly if they are being attacked. Most baby birds learn to sing by copying their parents.

Did you know? (planets)

What is the smallest planet?
the answer is Pluto, Pluto is also the coldest planet because it is the furtherest away from the sun. Pluto has one moon called Charon. From Pluto the sun is just a tiny spot of light in the distance.

What is the hottest planet?
Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system, its surface is hotter than the inside of an oven. Venus is covered in a blanket of thick, yellow gas. The gases trap heat from the sun but don't let it escape. This means that Venus can't cool down.

Have probes been to Mars?
More Probes have been to Mars than any other planet, in 1997 a Probe called Pathfinder landed on Mars. Inside the 'pathfinder' was a tiny robot vehicle, called Sojourner. Scientists steered it using remote control. It investigated the soil and rocks on Mars.
